An off the cough poem

So you want a poem off the cuff
One drawn of the raw and the rough

Speak of what would you have me
So much to say, it's beyond me

Guess I'll just leave you this jingle
Though it doesn't set my skin to tingle

Short and not so sweet is it
I cannot chew as much as I've bit
