An Ordinary Bloke Poem by Francis Duggan

An Ordinary Bloke

An ordinary bloke with a toothy smile
But absent from his makeup any conceit or guile
The life of the party a pleasure to meet
And one like him does not live on every street.

One who is not bothered by worry or stress
His motto is you make your own happiness
An ordinary bloke who is so kind of heart
Of fun and enjoyment he is always a part.

Any negative thing of him one cannot say
For to help you he would go out of his way
One of the more genuine sorts of the town
He would help you up he would not push you down.

To those who know of him he's an ordinary bloke
One who enjoys his beer and can laugh at a joke
And only the good in all others he see
And for an ordinary bloke he doesn't act ordinary.
