An Unhealthy Obsession Poem by Lillian P.k

An Unhealthy Obsession

I used to be obsessed with him,
He filled my mind.
I thought he was the
One,
But my prince soon
faded with the wind
What was once a lake,
Was then a pool,
Then a puddle
Then a drop
Then but vapor in the air

My next one soon came,
Many soon followed

It seems I fall too easily
I believe too completely
Each one could be my soul mate

Each one ends and
becomes my woe

I cry bitter tears,
And sink to my knees
They have ripped out my heart,
and ignited all my fears

If you listen to the sound
of My heart
If you hear the Real me,
Your still not the one,
Because the One is Me
