Angry Wish Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Angry Wish

Angry wish

Looked to side
Found my eyes
Said a lot
With no word…

Laziness of seabirds,
Picking up the fish, dead,
Escapees or excess
Of huge and large nets,
Thrown out from the trawlers.

Lies combined with fear
By the scared patients
"Do I have the virus? "

Showed me the screen
Ambulances, police
In, around New York
As if was, once again
September Eleventh…

Ran signs of advertise
Nobody there to watch
Near Time Square…

President's portrait:
"Picture of worldwide hate…"
And the dead in the morgues
(They rented freezers!)

Saw sorrow in his face,
Wrinkles on his forehead:
"But still feel happy…
To see them increase…"

Showed picture…president's
And played with cursor
Between him and the dead:
"If see them increase…
Just because of single
Stupid, S. O. B! "
