Another typical day
In the same old average typical way
Like the grayest gray
Or the yawning of dismay
You get up and you wonder: Isn't this just another day?
Why do I go through this routine? you think with dismay
Isn't there a better way?
Is what you secretly pray
Then you put on the costume for the TV show
And you play the part of the average working joe
You'd do something else but you know:
You need the dough
Yes it's another typical day
In the same old average typical way
But are you okay
Or have you sold your soul for a minimum pay?
