Anubis stands before Hades,
The gates of Hell,
He guards the souls.

Thou watchful one,
Watchful also is
He-who-is-upon-his-mountain.

Thy moment is repelled;
I have repelled thy
Moment of rage; I
Am thy protector.

Come forth O
Light, come forth,
Thou who art
Without, come in, Anpu.

Hail Anpu, come to me,
Thou art Anpu, Anubis;
Anubis stands before Hades,
The gates of Hell,
