Anxiously Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Anxiously

Anxiously

By window, stop, watch
The race of raindrops…

The leaves of the tree
Dance as if skating
To the left and to right
Bent, falling, hope to rise.

What is a video?
Or movie, theatre?

Am at edge, excited;
Feel look back of nature
And remain dumbfounded.

Know that soon the rain will
Kill summer and the leaves
Keep landing and painting
With colours, attractive.

Cannot take my eyes off;
The shadows keep running
Like columns of armies
In the hands of evils.

Anxiously am waiting;
Do my best for counting,
Lose track of numbers
So, return, slowly
To the days of my life,
The few remaining.

Will they fit in a year?
Or more, or a lot less?

Will I be raindrop
After goes off alarm
On clock of my life?

Will I be a nothing?
(Never came, has not been!)
