Anywhere Will Do Poem by Edmund V. Strolis

Anywhere Will Do

Rating: 4.5

Oh how it shined
That memory in my mind
Of toes in the sand
Playful waves
Sisters and brothers

Oh how they laughed
Those children on the shore
Diving forms shimmering
Screams of joy
And glorious wonder

Oh your bright eyes
Lowering sunglasses smiling
Bewitching sungodess
Drunk with love
Bathed in summer

Oh to heaven above
If you do indeed exist
Be kind
Never free me
From the spell I'm under

Oh if truth be told
I do not need the sea
Or even sunny days
If I am there with you
Anywhere will do

Anywhere Will Do

Delightful and Deeply satisfying read and the last verse sums it up so well. it's not so much about what's happening as being with the one you love.True love. I love the image of a memory shining in your mind and of toes in the sand. Thanks Edmund.
