A spiritless existence,
A careless continuance,
An emotionless presence,
A lifeless survival.

Numbness replaces my feelings,
Nothingness corrupts my functions.
Indifference invades my judgment.

My ambitions,
My perseverance,
My drive to succeed,
They all dissipate
As my future evaporates.

The pen becomes heavy,
Lifting it is a burden.

A darkened vortex of emptiness,
A black hole of hollowness,
Systematically draining creativity,
Meticulously devouring individuality,
Singlehandedly annihilating vitality.
Its name:

Apathy.
