Appetite For Destruction Poem by Darrick wiggins

Appetite For Destruction

One morning I awake to a huge storm;
believing I was in a resustitated
nightmare;
while my body was telling me, i can't
stay warm;
as I reprieved to the lord, could life
be this much unfair;
nature was being tortured;
by the inconspicuous power of the
elements;
taking away its values of fortunes;
it was so relentless, saddened,
the sun, stars, and the moon were
irrelevent;
here I am listening to some unknown
uncanny sound;
as I say, ohh my god! ! ! , here comes
the revelation;
please, please, please, how im going
to get around;
ohh my lord! ! ! , when its going to stop,
take me away from this wicked imvasion.
