Armageddon Poem by christopher bagley

Armageddon

Sky turns black
winds gain speed
thunder cracks
children scream
acidic pellets cascade
out the torrent skies
mommies scream in angushed vain
as babies eyes go blind
the slimy serpent slithers past
across the carpet flowing red
tis the dawn of daemons cast
upon the living and the dead
houses holy violently turning
faithful followers into oblivion
naught for others - all for self
souls and senses burning
at the entrance to Hell
