Artists Work Poem by Antony Glaser

Artists Work

White knuckle fare
must be taller than yesterday
You've got a then vice of a rattlesnake
Destroy, destroy
The artists work undone
drawings of soldiers and cars berated
by a dismiss teacher
without compassion
or momentary care
I cannot explain
your ribald blade
or you nonchalant
behaviour
till this day
