As I Go On! Poem by Eden Williams

As I go on with my life.
I think that if I wasn't here would everybody be better off.
I try to go on believing that one day you'll be the one holding me tight and not let go.
All I want from you is your unconditional love.
I have a friend.
She keeps telling me that you told her while yall were dating that you like me.
But it's not that I don't believe her.
It's just I want to hear your voice saying that you like me too.
As I wait to hear those words come out of your mouth.
I think it would take a big burden off your shoulders.
Will we ever be together?
Or should I just go away and it be better for the both of us.
Will there ever be a day when I can say I love you and you say I love you too?
Hopefully it will happen soon!
