As I Watch Poem by Clara Diskley

As I Watch

Cars pass me by as I ponder
While I reminisce I look out and see
birds flying across the blue sky
As I watch the birds fly away together

I hear a cellphone go off and you pick it up
to have a distressed face
There is this sad look in your eye as a tear appeared
Tears start to down your face as I looked at you

A death came and you didn't look cheery anymore, you
looked pretty glum
It knocked you down and at first you didn't say anything
You became quiet with saddness all over your face
