As She Picks Her Love Poem by Alyssa Lippi

As She Picks Her Love

Happy, smiles, tears, hurt
How can one feel both and not burst?
The warm love now refreshed
burns around the edges
with the scalding fire of a newly made decision
She fears she's hurt -him-
the one person who's Never caused her pain
Is it right to trade the happiness of one
for hurt.... betrayal
The new path ahead
love
joy
happiness
Its been so long without [him]
She wanted it so much
And she did anything to get there
Selfish deeds taunt her consciousness
She hurt -him-
bc she loves [him]
