Ask Love A Question Poem by Aa Harvey

Ask Love A Question

Ask love a question

Love doesn't ask what the age difference is,
What job they do and how much money they make.
All love asks is do you love them?

Love doesn't ask if they already have kids.
Are your feelings the truth?
Are you ready to get burned by the heartache once more?
All love is asking from you, is to love them.

Love isn't a certainty.
Love doesn't come with a warranty.
No promise is made, that can never be broken.
I can guarantee, that you will be hurt,
Eventually;
But you will be hurt, this day, by yourself,
If your declaration is never spoken.

Love is not destiny.
Love will not set you free.
Love is not your only hope.
Love is all that love can be.

Love is not going to release you from the devils inside your head.
Love is not going to bring you back from the dead.
Love is not a panacea…
All love asks is do you love her?

If you love her,
Then show her.
If you love him,
Then tell him.

If they love you,
You could become more than friends,
Or you could find a friendship that never ends,
Or you could break apart like a meteor that shatters stars!
But all love has ever asked of you is…
Do you love them?

So tell me please,
How do you feel about me?
Do you love my ‘self'; my being?
This is no time to be holding your peace.

Love is Pandora's box.
Once thoughts are confessed to love,
You will have found your soulmate…
Or love will be eternally lost.
