Assured In His Knowledge Poem by Oyekake Satty (O S) Joshua

O that I may know Him to the fullest
To the deepest degree possible to man
To drench myself in His knowledge
Till all my doubts and questions wilt
And my sins and indulgences arrested
To stand denuded before Him unafraid
Unclad and yet not chilled with terror
To approach Him with joy abounding
And life’s circumstances hope renew
Fully abandoned in joyful surrender

O that I may know Him to the fullest
To trust Him, and all my cares submit
To walk in Him my livelihood assured
To never be confounded by life’s toil
To know in my bones I belong to Him
That what befalls me is to His concern
To retire each day reposed in tranquility
And to awake enraptured in His presence
To know Him and to be clad in His love
To live life unveiled yet without shame
