A loving kiss for each cheek
On this our rainy night
With an umbrella roof leak
We splash all puddles in sight

Lightning flashing in the sky
Cats are all meoooowwwwing
Soaking wet as if we cried
Jostling trees are bowing

Ashcans rolling in the street
City traffic standstill
Metronome of pacing feet
In a world of fast thrills

Let us dash into the wind
Holding hands while leaping
In this rainbow dream we end
Snuggling and sleeping.
