AT ANY COST...
AT ANY COST (Dedicated to the Missionaries)
After trekking 40 miles in three days,
Climbing the mountainous path to the village
The village was then in the horizon
And they had the joy to run through the remaining yards
…they were on a journey to win the lost souls…
Even at any cost!
They got under a big tree to rest
And catch some more breath with some beverages
They joined their hands to pray
That God will flood the village with His light
And save all the lost prodigals in there
Even at any cost.
And now, their first shock;
They sighted some inhabitants some paces away
Walking happily up and down the village
But then, they were all naked – stark naked!
But these ones are here to save the lost souls
Even at any cost.
Their first attempt seemed discouraging:
The village folks ran away from them –
Then they removed their clothes and panties, too!
To the villagers, they became villagers;
That they might by all means save some
…even at any cost
Walking naked, preaching through the village
They got some villagers on the Lord’s side
And as everybody slept that night
Another strange thing happened.
…it’s all about saving the lost…
Even at any cost.
From the king to the least slave,
Everybody slept and dreamt of the cross –
They all saw the crucified Christ as they lay
Who at detriment of His blood and honor
Died to save all lost souls living and yet unborn
Even at such a high cost.
By noon, it was a different story:
The whole village is saved for God
And the king’s decree put on this a seal:
“No one shall serve any God EXCEPT THIS ONE GOD
Who will go ahead to save any lost person
…even at any cost.”
Oh that I will be like this team mates;
Trekking miles…
Climbing mountains…
And even walking naked…
Just to save the lost…
Even at any cost.
So help me God.
