At Night Poem by Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

At Night

At night I wait for you to arrive, but you can’t
You absolutely need your clan
The clock has struck midnight, and the moon has turned full
It’s silver glistening and shimmering like magic
And the howls are like lightning banging against my window
Not being with you is completely and utterly tragic

My crystal gray eyes are hopeful that I can be one of you someday
But knowing that it’s not possible makes me want to scream
I want to be able to go in for the hunt and watch as that rock in the sky gleams
I just can’t handle the frustration
I need you to fulfill my temptation
Please, whisper my salvation
