Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman Poem by Raj Dronamraju

Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman

The naked eye cannot perceive the scale of you
And at first I'd thought I'd bitten off more than I could chew
Most of the serious talks disintegrated into silliness which was surprising
The gossip I'd heard from other people made it sound as if you were angry about something

The crushed opportunity that did everything it could to live
Showed up the jejune neighbourhood as not a good place to raise a family
It takes years to get big enough to ignore such truculent territory
Still didn't have to spend much effort to find a suitor

The head tilted upwards cannot quite see the monster planet head
The dangers of being stepped on are magnified greatly
This is now my place of hiding right next to your suitor
My arrogant sidestep to somewhere close and far at the same time

Giant cavities do not fill with malice
An extra large cranium does not automatically equal genius
The transit point between fresh faced vitality and lame duck placesitter
Her casual destruction remakes all and everyone
