Attraction Poem by mark anthony st. rose

Attraction

Her face is printed in my mind in hesitation,
Always before the dawn, always before the noon.
In a sleepless wonder it lingers,
Like a stronger ember whispers
Sweet words of love but agony
Haunts like an idle ghost
That wants to be the host
Of love's pain. (embraced by another)
And I think of her again,
In a kind of midnight's magic stupor
It seems my thought energy finds her
Now my face is printed in her mind in hesitation,
Always before the dawn, always before the noon.
