B. Ballad 1: The Life Of David Ingersoll Poem by Hannington Mumo

B. Ballad 1: The Life Of David Ingersoll

There lived long ago a man of modest means,
A meek and a docile soul;
An elderly man who’d studied law,
And who went by the name David Ingersoll.

Which part of the world lived he,
Or where he’s born no-one knew;
His foes never lived,
And his friends were few.
