Baby Clouds Poem by Eden Verse

Baby Clouds

🌨️
I saw the lady moon in sky
She peeped in lakes and float on high
She perched on softish throne of gales
She played with fays and stars of sky
With silver sheen she smiled at dales
At hills at deeps at fowls that fly

She saw a group of baby clouds
They shine as misty stars in shroud
One by one came from their huts
And ran and laughed in crowd and crowd

In heart and heart she wished and prayed
And harkened, 'bring them starry fays'
They will be our guests tonight
Oh led them on my silver ways

In wink of eyes they fetched them all
They rode on silver shining rays
They perched in haste, they rose they fall
The beauteous lady them enthralled
They roamed and roamed, they smiled, they played
More happier than the blooms were they
She offered them the heavens wine
In goblets made of silver ray
They ate and drank they talked aloud
And they forgot the lady cloud

They gathered round the
Lady moon
And she played hide and seek with them

I was witness of all this scene
I was in secret love with them
I harkened angels come there soon
And send them home, be meek with them

I thought that they are tiny ones
And they are far from lady cloud
She must be weeping somewhere else
In blackish veil in whitish shroud

The angels went with gusts of wind
And tiny clouds saw them from high
They ran so free, in fear they flee
And said their lady moon good bye
