Babyhood Retrospection Poem by james watkin

Babyhood Retrospection

Rating: 5.0

This town, out of a sea-mist
As a hamlet Time-clears.
Lanterned of Fairy Quiets.
Rare, lovely, to these ears!

Baby-heard murmurs, upon
A gentler era that swings.
In friend to family member
Strung along; on warm strings.

An unbroke lightheartedness.
For what hangs, summer-long
By shore-bursts, spiced of fable!
Shore-loud, airing weird song!
