Bad Love Good Poem by simon elf

Bad Love Good

Her smile used to Detonate a single hour's

Nuclear Explosion of rhapsody

brilliant illusions of paradise

Fireworks of pure joy,

Misconstrued as eternity,

I would awaken to my wasteland

Money gone and alone

Marrow Sucked out to the bone

I will survive

Allow me but a few weeks time,

So I can sacrifice myself again

waiting for your call, some bit of

attention,

Or, maybe not

Your blinding gaze

must have found me not

With a shrug,

you were off in search of new folly

I am bound to a new love mast

We have sailed far, fast
