Balm For The Broken Poem by Hannington Mumo

Balm For The Broken

To those in distress and fumbling for hope
Speak a word to liven up;
To them that are held in the darkest abysss of unbelief
Tell the story of the thief,
Crucified beside the Savior upon the accursed wooden cross;
How repentant sinners may in freedom floss
If they count themselves and all they have short-lived and vain,
And embrace the Savior for eternal gain.
