Bankrupt Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Bankrupt

Bankrupt

After I with my film under arm step out;
Some news will be aired; will come out,

I will be on the roads and will shout:
"Ay People,
I have done my best part.
I spent my wealth and much of time;
Empty are pockets; I'm bankrupt…"

And then I explain:
"I did so to unite; bring love."

Sorry but I hear the echo of my voice:
"Your own sound is the best to hear as reply;
On others don't rely."
