Barren Poem by Nel Omofolarin

Barren

In the winks of time
We bake each deciduous decades of life
In the twinkle of age
Beauty weighs little less than beast
At the wink of nights
Life weighs a little less than graves
What a tangle mess, we make
Where pendulum paddles us behind time
We who were in such a mad haste
To make a glad way!
