Battling Cancer Poem by Kandi Behagg

Battling Cancer

They say I will make it

They say Im ok

As they tell me I could die

Battling Cancer

There are times I cry

Trying to figure out why

Yes there is treatment to try

Battling Cancer

Will it save me if I try

Another reason I wounder why

With tear filled eyes

Battling Cancer

The Chemo and Radiation rushing through me

They say this is the key

Unless I die the pain will never go away

Battling Cancer

You take my hand

And tell me its ok

That there is a brighter day

Battling Cancer

I put on a smile

And wipe the tears away

Now I know you will stay

Battling Cancer

My body will start to decay so they say

Im just waiting for the day

It all goes away

Battling Cancer

For now will stay

As you kiss my fears away

Hoping I will be ok

Battling Cancer

Every night I pray

Dont let me go astray

Please just take it away
