Beautiful Curse Poem by Subhayan Chanda

Beautiful Curse

In the times of winter when the nights were gloomy
I fell in love with your melancholy
In an exchange of thoughts that were jolly
We learnt our sides that were folly

Unknowingly, I gotta a sudden surge
Steadily yet swiftly my love for you emerged
I took it for granted and faced scourge
What seemed so little turned out so large

I guess that's how it works
First it gets bad then it gets worse
And as life goes on, every moment seems to hurt
I guess love is nothing but a beautiful curse

love is nothing but a beautiful curse, And what is a curse- is it not all blessings!
