Beauty (2) Poem by Suky Basran

Beauty (2)

[sukhdeeps rewrite]

In an instance when you arise
laid upon you, though you, within you are my eyes
From this moment of your sight
I know that God shines his light.

The trial of bountiful bubbles from the bath
lingers like your sensual laugh
towels creasing the tiles
the scent of the candles spreading passion for miles
the wisp of smoke dancing like the silhouette of an Arabian dancer in the night
mimics the warmth rising within me with every motion of you in my sight
Your warmth engulfing me more and more as we are intertwined
i think how i want to have this moment to rewind
and play again only when the curtain shuts for the final time
for that is when i will realize that you were only to be mine.
