Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder Poem by Once upon a toilet wall

Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder

Rating: 5.0

I used to be self conscious,
My nose was really big!
I broke it nearly fifteen times
I looked just like a pig.!

So I went to see a surgeon
to see what he could do.
He told me he could make my nose
look just as good as new.

So I uncovered all my mirrors
and combed my unkempt hair,
I threw out all my trenchcoats
and bought new clothes to wear

But when the bandages all came off
I screamed and then freaked out!
My big fat ugly pig like nose
looked like a baboon's snout!

From that day on, I never look back
or argue with my fate.
I may not look like Cary Grant
But to monkeys I look great!

Fun one! Glad you quit monkeying around with your looks! Or are you still nit-picking? -chuck

WOW! ! ! ! ! What a poem indeed, written with zeal of comic relief....structured with poetic rhymes and great flow of words connected in each in every stanza...10
