I tried so hard
to forget about you
but my hopes to get better
were easier to say, than do

I told you my feelings
and little did I know
that I should have never
let my feelings show

I made a mistake
for falling for this guy
and telling you I love you
and you said goodbye

You stopped talking to me
and acted like you moved on
I couldn't believe it
you're actually gone

You found someone new
and ignored how I feel
I acted in a different way
hoping my heart would heal

The pain wasn't hiding
I wasn't eating a lot
I tried to stay healthy
but my nerves were shot

The depression was growing
