Bed Corners Poem by Tricia Mae Chua

Bed Corners

Last night I prayed for angels
to watch over me as I slept
and to comfort my upset feelings over you.
God sent me four, one on each bed corner.
Their invisible outstretched arms
A glowing dome of love and light
Covering me as I lay there
Not knowing what to do with the hurt inside.
I sought shelter from the pain.
And shelter came.
And so did sound sleep.
