Before A Rainbow Appears A Little Rain Must Fall. Poem by Peter Dome

Before there's a rainbow there must be a little rain
before you find true love
there must be a little pain
you may run from your problems
but the problems still remain
you need to leave the past behind
to make a change.

To travel through life successfully
you have to accept life
is no bed of roses
and you must ride the storms
see problems as a challenge
to learn from
take the bull by the horns.

You can't rely on others
to give you a helping hand
and get on.

Life is for living
and serving God above
to thank him for everything
he has done
and all his love.

Don't let life slip away
don't put off until tomorrow
what you can do today
or one morning you may wake up
and look in the mirror
and find it's much too late
your old and grey.
