Before The Fall Poem by Jeffrey Adegor

Before The Fall

Rating: 4.0

Like a bead of sweat
She drops attention to bigger flows
Depicting a drape of defiance
The antithesis of inconspicuousness
She sits beautified by her maker
As green as they come
But don't let these trees fool you
I hear there are goblins in the forest
Very noticeable, very beautiful
She entertains one stranger and the next
She possesses a very rocky heart
Her tears could bathe A Star
No matter how big
How I wonder where you are
Such sweet melody, your countenance sing
When the sun sets on this face
your heart melts of beauty, redefined
The perfect Understanding
I hear her father is rich
The most generous king of all
But he's got an annoying child
Maybe it's because of the company she keeps
...
But all good things come to an end
