Before you came
Love was a fairytale
Of a charming prince
Out of a royal ball
Bearing a missing stiletto.
It was an epic
Of a caped knight
In black leather and jeans
But without a damsel
In a romantic distress.
Before you came
Love was a pink mirage
For only the Zee world,
Waiting for belles out of
A non fictional mirror.
It used to be a world of illusions,
Fables that history wrote on stars.
Not until you reached out to me
Chaos made way for nature
In the gardens of my heart.
I must say thank you.
I must say I love you too.
Now you've come
I am like a golden fish
Thrown back to the sea.
