Beginning the end

I feel like crying
A voice is chiming
For me to let it in
But I just won’t give in

The voice is trying
My heart is dieing
I can not let this win
I must not stand for it again

I sit and ponder
You just wonder
For an answer deep inside,
I contemplate my suicide

The edge is near now
I take a shallow bow
And I’m falling through
Now what can you do

Can you stop fait
Before I reach my date
Time is closing in
I just cannot begin

Poem of the Day

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
