Behind The Tide Poem by Candice Renae Williams

Behind The Tide

Rating: 2.3

My friend do not leave me...
As if my pleading,
could brush your tears aside.
The Pain will be cold,
and bitter like a December's wind...
but your smile and laughter can survive...
and bring the joy back to life...
You are my branch when I need something to grab onto..
and you are my shoulder when I have to cry the pain aside.
So don’t ever forget that you’re needed...
and remember that the tide may indeed rise...
we'll still have our bond to keep us alive.

Like this poem? I hate it. but I miss that feeling. To care about someone in such a dramatic way....: : : sings a song the joys of friendship: : : Luckily, I have since learned to stand on my own two feet... (-see The Tide, and previous I don't want to see you hurt poems)
