Being One Poem by DR KUSUMITA MUKHERJEE

Being One

The golden ray touches the eyelashes

Gold on black

Covering the sight

Vision enclosed.

Literally.

The rainbow appears

The closed doors fail as potent barriers.

Flesh and Blood

Frail imperdiments.

The mind of man is infinite

Restrained yet gratuitous.

At once the crouching coward

And the resplendent peacock.

The being at harmony

Transcends all mortal confines

Unites with the infinite

Unleashing potential.
