Belittled And Betrayed Poem by Azeez Rylands

Belittled And Betrayed

It was always me, the odd one out,
Always the one in peoples doubts.
They called me weird and such a freak,
While I just sat there playing role of the geek.

I thought you were something extraordinary,
Something different from the cliché ordinary.
You said you cared with all your heart,
When your actions said other when we went apart.

I thought you just needed some time and space,
When in fact you wanted completely out of this place.
Its people like you who poisons this place,
With all your depressing negativity and saddening disgrace.
