Bereavement Poem by David Taylor

Bereavement

Rating: 5.0

Flowers fold petals
Curtains close
Eye lids grow
heavy
End of dawn
sets.

Light fades into
ink
Words drift
disembodied
Feelings sink
deep.

Times remembered
lost
Frosts crystals
weep
Night sleeps.
