Why do you do this to me
what have I done to deserve this
I had a friend in you, you see

You have no idea of my pain
for I trusted you deeply
a new trauma all the same

For letting me think you are dead
tearing my heart into pieces
while still alive instead

Why not letting me know
for I was your friend
but that is not what you show

Was I was lesser than less
I feared that all along
worthlessness made me a mess

Why do you add to that feeling
while I was fighting my way
ýou block the path of healing

If I could only understand
it was NOT out of rage
that I lost my only friend
