Betryal Poem by Daya Nandan

Betryal

I trusted you with all my heart,
Yet you broke my trust and tore it apart,
I believed in you, now it is all in vain,
Because you chose to hurt and put me in pain,

I cannot believe i had faith in you,
I cannot believe i never knew,
You back stabbed me without a second thought,
Like a villain in a novel following the plot,

I hope karma finds its way to your evil ways,
And i hope your victims watch you suffer in your days,
I am sure i am not the first that you have hurt,
i am sure that there are many hearts that you have covered in dirt,

As for me i have learned my lesson from you,
i will never make the same mistake under the sky so blue,
my broken heart from the mistakes that i make,
Are all lessons embedded in the stepping stones that i take.

I will never trust you again!

I wont make the same mistake twice!
