Better To Wait
I thought I'd call you up
To see how you are doing
But then I thought, I better not
As it could be my undoing
We got into an argument
We both said some awful things
I think it might be more than wise
To wait and see what tomorrow brings
I think a cooling period
Would serve us both just fine
Because I'd really hate to lose
The love I feel in this heart of mine
