Better Together Poem by Richard Randolph

Better Together

Spaghetti and meatballs,
macaroni and cheese,
peanut butter and jelly,
honey for teas.

The moon needs the sun
to gently illuminate the night,
while the sun all alone
creates too harsh a light.

No doubt there are those
who are happy alone,
but for most it's far better
to have someone waiting at home.
