Beware My Shadow Poem by Lancealot Whiteknight

Beware My Shadow

Beware my love,
My love is average,
Beware the lies and deceit,
It will tear you in to pieces,
Beware the snake within my being,
Its fangs will cling on to you,
And they will never let go,
But you will,
Your love is average,
You do not know, what I know,
You have not seen, what I´ve seen,
You are naïve,
And I will devour you,
And your soul will be torn in to dust,
And when you must,
You will beg,
Beg for your suffering to end,
And when it ends,
It begins yet again,

Succumb to my power,

Or I will crucify your happiness, and torture your hope,
Until you will go, and fetch a rope,
And I'll be the chair,
Wobbly and unreliable,
Slowly, you fall to your despair,
Beware my love
