Big Decision Poem by Alfred Ramos

Big Decision

If you want to be just like them
Then I guess we got ourselves a problem

You forever throw vicious words in my face
That leads to nothing but disgrace

I’m tossed between going or staying
In this dangerous came that you’re playing

You think no one is better than you
And I’m not the one to tell you what to do

Why are you taking chances with love
What world do you want to be a part of

Is everyone going to have to wait
Till you decide to test your fate

I don’t know what has me drawn to you
It’s like you can read me through and through

I’m not a savior on a great white horse
I’m not here to take your heart by force

But I willing to make a stand
If it means leaving here with your hand

It sure takes a lot of courage to make big decisions and once they're made, it sure takes a lot of faith to act on them one at a time. Lookin back on history, great men always acted on what they believed were best.
