Bilge Water Poem by Robert Sheridan

Bilge Water

A derogatory term used colloquially
to refer to something bad, ruined, or
fouled; can destabilize your life if it's
allowed to run freely - warning, if left
unattended, seepage will accumulate;
Seepage into your whole freaking life;
It will turn you yellow, you know what
I mean - cowardice... your head will
bulge out and your heart will shrink;
The transition will take you from bad
to worse; you'll spring a leak - then
enter into the lowest internal part of
your stinking life; there will be a
certain collision between good and
evil; then you can say goodbye to
your intestinal fortitude; 'Out of the
belly of hell, ' you'll soon cry; then
you'll become a worm like all the
others - feeding on what little good
that's left in our 'society' - now isn't
that special? You'd better hope and
pray you suffer a 'bilge water' fracture
before it's too bloody late...
